    Hi guys,

I have an issue of updating with my Starview The Box 2.
It is a Genuine Version, firmware is 4.54 (uploaded 1year ago). Emu option is on.

Until yesterday, the Box was working fine, and I had an access to all chanels.

Now, I have only access to unrestricted channels, and when I want to access restricted channel (i.e. Se***ta), the box needs to update. The problem is that the box keeps updating until 100% (sometimes over 100%) and then start again. This doesn't stop, forming a loop.

I have tried the reset of factory settings, re-installation of channels, codes change. That did not work.

Has anybody met this problem before? Please advise how to fix it. Many thanks.

Hi, everyones in the same boat, everyones has gone of..
Software is out for the Starvie 3 and 4 but not yet for the Starview 1 and 2...
Give it a few days keep checking this forum and when the software is released it will be on here...

    Just a waiting game.

Thanks for quick reply Moeiom. Understood this is something many of us are encountering. So that would be an update on the software. Is that different from the firmware or same? Cheers, AH

You just have to wait till a fix and new firmware is out for Starview 2, it will be posted in the top thread on the forum, so keep checking the first post on that thread as it will be updated when there's any news...

If you are alright, then carry on as you are if you are positive that you have a clone, but if you take a risk and do try the firmware then please read the instructions, it is a step by step supplied.
