hi again i've got the lead today and have been trying the guide on this site to flash my box. the computer says the driver has installed and there is no problems, so i connect my eurovox box and wait till i see the dotted lines then start the firmware software....this is where the problems lies... when i click the download button it doesn't tell me the version just comes up with com 3 and 4 then the start button appears so i clicked that it says to select one of the com ports 1,2,3,4 so tried them all and all it does is wait for a signal from the box which it doesn't i checked the com ports properties its saying its using com9 and that its working fine. The firmware software doesn't give me that port as an option to use. i even changed the bit rate speed to max and still no joy. i'm using a usb adptor with the RS232 lead and using vista for my op. My eurovox max is a blue box, i've download the update from bigmac toolbar. please help thanx gary_uk21
You need to change the Comm Port settings of the USB adapter have a look here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/663923#4033225
