How to get a decent copy ?

    This will be a stupid question for most of you, but here goes:

    I have a movie file 750Mb. I try to burn it, using Nero Ultra 7.

    I then get a screen saying that the file has to be compressed to fit on a DVD+R disk, thus reducing quality.

    How do those of you with more experience handle this? Do you opt for lesser quality, or burn to a (very expensive) dual layer disk?

    Is there a program available that will burn these files without compromising quality?

    Use ConvertXtoDVD to convert it to VOB first, then burn with Nero Burning Rom.

    Most movies are around the 750mb size in AVI format, I have found that the "compression" needed to fit these files to a normal DVD5 is minimumal and not noticeable...I use NeroVision
