Hello I just bought a new PC ( Dell Inspiron 530 Desktop PC w/ Vista) My power supply doesnt have any IDE ports, Just SATA.

Well i have a SAMSUNG DVD Burner (Model SH-S202N) from my old PC that i just bought about 3 months ago but it has a IDE power supply.

So how can i get it to work without messing anything else up??

I have a backup 300watt power supply with IDE ports ( but no SATA) But i did buy some IDE to SATA converters. ( im waiting for them to come.

But i dont really want to switch the power supplies since this one is brand new and risk messing something up or missing a wire that my backup 300 watt doesnt have.

So is there any other adapters I can use to attach from a extra SATA port to go into my IDE slot on the DVD burner?? I can only find these... http://www.atxpowersupplies.com/images/4-pin-molex-to-sata-converter-master-350x350.gif

    Please Help!!

I was thinking of that too. But what if i buy a PCI to IDE card? I found one but im not sure if its worth it since the price for it is about the same for a burner
