How is this related to thread's question?

And those Cobra etc. BIOSes are region free... PAL should work...

And why u have a list of those games on ur post??

Only use the bios developed specifically for the chip you're using. Since you're only complaining about PAL games not working on a NTSC GameCube (US GameCubes are NTSC), I'm going to assume that you're talking about what it looks like on your TV. If it comes up gray, stretched, or not at all, it's because your TV doesn't support the PAL signal coming from the GameCube. Qoob chips have a force video mode that does a decent job at converting PAL into NTSC, but it seems to have problems on Mario Tennis and Paper Mario for example, where it seems to shift the screen left for whatever reason. I don't know much about the other chips, so unless they have a force video mode option or you can get a PAL to NTSC signal convertor, then you can't play PAL games since your TV won't display it properly.

As for Resident Evil 4, it's probably just a bad rip if you can play it for an hour and it suddenly stops working.

I'm pretty sure using the Qoob bios on a Viper chip is a bad idea because of the chips design. It shouldn't be able to work properly.

As far as I know, the Cobra bios doesn't have a force video mode feature like Qoob does. So for now, it seems like you won't be playing those games until a new Cobra bios is released that supports it or you get the hardware that can either convert the signal or a TV that can display it properly. A last choice would be to get a Qoob chip, but that'd be pointless since Viper will most likely have a force video mode option at some point.

Your best options at this point is to just get the NTSC versions of those games or just wait for a new Cobra bios to be released that supports it.
