I bought my Children Snow White, which they love, and so I decided to make a backup of the film, to let them handle and play the movie, and to protect the original from getting ruined.

But, even when I re-author it with just the movie, a water mark, of a Camera Icon, is still present.

I also noticed that in just backing up the movie only, the film was created in 2 angles, both at about 4 gigs each. But, one was a bit smaller then the other. I'm thinking that this extra angle shot is how they get the water mark on the copy.

Any suggestions, on this issue? I'd appreciate any help.
I'd like to know how to rid myself of these water marks, within any movie.

    Thanks for your time.
    Sincerely,
    Tom

You should notice the camera icon on the original as well. Some movies are filmed with multiple angles. When you see the camera icon, that means you can click your control and switch the angle you're viewing of the movie. The icon is a feature of the player when it reads a multi angle movie. I've heard some companies were thinking of updating firmware to turn it off, but to date, I haven't seen any. I'm not sure what you'd have to do to the movie or even if it's possible to keep the icon from coming on. This may have been a question for the advanced section.

    Hey Brobear,
    Thanks for you reply.
    That was pretty fast.
It's really not that bad, but seeing there are so many people working with and around DVD, I thought I'd give it a shot.
    Thanks again anyway,
    Tom

You're welcome. I get the same annoying icon. I wish Philips would do something about it with a firmware update for my player.

I just thought of something. When ripping with DVD Decrypter, there is an option to process multiangle files and retain certain ones. The main one is normally 1. I don't know if a person chose only one angle if that would turn the icon off or not. Couldn't hurt anything to give it a try. It never bothered me enough to try it.
