How to get this soon to be hot item?

I was just wondering if anyone knew of a good place to reserve a ps3. I realize that just because you reserve it at a store you're not ensured to get it the day of release or anywhere close to it. But are there some stores that meet their promises better than others. Is there some other better way to get newly released consoles besides reserving.

Also when will the approximate time be to start reserving units. I just don't want to buy it off some dude who gets 10 of them from his job at Target and turns around and flips them for $1500 on ebay.

Soon to be? Rumors say that it might be until 2007 when it's released. So far no gameplay video, those rumors might just be right.

 

There are trailers of ps3 games, you just have to look for it. I've downloaded one trough bitcomet (torrent found at "torrentspy.com").
The trailer of the new Metal gear solid. It's quite funny, Snake has become a gramps thehe . There were some more but i didn't take a look at all of them, But if you'd like a preview you just have to look a bit further then the lenght of your nose .

Checked already, so far have seen only pre-rendered stuff.

 

That's right, there are many trailers but no game footage. Check out the Killzone tech demo at www.gamespot.com, it was recorded if First Person perspective to simulate gameplay, but is still pre-rendered.

 

Yeah, I know. When I first saw it I almost crapped my pants, when I thought that it was actual gameplay. Damn Sony, scaring people like that We want to see real gameplay Sony!

Now they probably will show us gameplay videos. Sony executives lurk in ad forums all the time.

 

Doesn't it say on the MGS4 trailer that it isn't Pre Rendered?

 

I already found out where to get my PS3!! I'll already get mine, while I still don't know when...Just kidding, I just received a spam message that offered me a PS3 for free and it even sait it included a 25GB hardrive. What a scam.

 

Yup, but it might be still pre-rendered. Sony propaganda you know Still quite damn impressive.

 

From Sony's press release, they are intending to release the PS3 in spring of 2006. Most likely, you will have to reserve them soon after Christmas I suppose.
