How to get windows media player 12 to find my external harddrive?

    when I went to options it couldn't find it but on windows explorer it's listed.

    I'm using windows 7 ultimate.

    I even tried plugging and reinstalling the driver and still no luck. It works on my other computer for windows media player.

    when you go to options/devices it should find it.try clicking on library and then other media and check that if its showing up there.The only other thing i can think of is adding the folder your musics/videos in on your external hdd.click file manage libraries then find the folder and add it.
