how to increase audio volume of mkv video files

    i m having bunch of movies in mkv files their are some movies having low audio sound. even though i keep my volume level at 100%. i m not satisfied with it. but at same level some movies audio sound are damn loud. how to level or adjust the volume of those audio files at desired level.

    Two things to try are running MPC and create a playlist of the files.
    'Normalize' the files during playback and see if that helps.
    If that doesn't work then you have to process each audio track with the likes of Audacity then replace the old audio with the new.

    i m having mkv toolnix, mkv merge. is there any other software for increasing volume at desired level. plus i must able to add that adjusted audio volume file into mkv file again. tell me some thng easiest way to make it possible. i just want to increase and adjust the level of volume of my audio file.

    Download and run Audacity.
    http://www.afterdawn.com/software/audio_video/audio_editing/audacity.cfm
    Click Edit > Preferences > Libraries then ensure that both libraries are either already installed or download and install them.
    Drag the video file with low volume into the window.

    Look at this video:

    Save the new adjusted audio by clicking 'File' > 'Export'.
    'Save as type' select the same as the source (e.g.
    if it was mp3, select that).

    Run MkvMerge, load the video with the low volume and the new audio.
    Deselect the original audio stream and mux a new video file.
