hi, i am quite new to P2P sharing and torrents. My problem is that no matter what i do, the download speed of my DSL connection(about 350 kbps at 30 kbps upload and donload speed) BitLord gives low speed. speeds are about 1-10 kbps. i tried increasing TCP of win xp to 50. i've used bitcomet and utorrent but they were slower(sometimes deos not even connect). i have also tried using 'Full Speed' to increase speed. none of them work.

But when i normally download from a browser it is giving more than 30 kbps. to be more specific seed/peer ratio of the torrent is 22/28. i guess thats good enough.
i would be more than thankful if someone tried to solve this problem

Do you use a router or have any firewall enabled (Windows included) that need's Bitlord set as an exception? Some modems include firewalls, what is it and what port are you using? Sound's like your ISP may throttle, check it here and there are other ISP"s that do: http://www.azureuswiki.com/index.php/Bad_ISPs Use this speedtest and report back your actual speeds, up and down: http://www.speedtest.net/ And after this gets settled, I'd suggest a different client. May also be some info in this diagram that may be useful: http://www.plucky.org/component/option,com_vfm/Itemid,54/do,view/file,torrent.jpg/
