Hi I have a copy of Roxio Platinum, which i received with a CD writer I purchased, it installed successfully, however I also have another PC, with a CD writer, and bec roxio works so well I want to install it on the 2nd machine as well but installation is unsucsessful, there is an error that no supported drives were found, and automatically the CD writer in my toolbar is blocked. Hope this explanation is good enough. Anyway it seems as though the roxio software is bundled only with the CD writer I purchased, Is there anyway it which I could remove this block and install the roxio software on any CD writer I wish to, Kindly advise. Often, burning software will conflict with other burning software if installed on the same machine. First, try de-installing *both* programs on your second computer. Then try a fresh install of the Roxio Platinum. If that doesn't work, or your burner is not recognized, you may have to look for a software upgrade from either Roxio or the maker of your (older) burner. If that doesn't work, or you can't find an upgrade, it may be that your older burner is simply not compatible with the newer Roxio Platinum. Other than that, I dunno........ -- Mike --
