xbr4 has been canceled. so better off using freeboot.

 

benefits from updating? Why would XBR4 be cancelled?

1) use 9199 dash
2) live support
3) USB storage for profile etc
4) better than xbr

reason xbr canceled:
1) no need for it
2) didnt feel like making it.

you still will get banned. but xbr3 will not connect to live.

 

XBR3 has 8955 dash so it wont connect to live as that is not the current dashboard version on Live capable 360's.

Where can I find 360Flashtool? I can only find "360 Flash Tool.exe" which im presuming isnt the 360 version.

 

You can find it on xbins. Only use it if you didn't have any bad blocks in your original dump. Apparently flash360 isn't remapping bad blocks.

If you did have bad blocks, use flash360 and update to XeLLous then use XeLLous to flash FB 9199.

Or you can hook up the LPT/USB and flash that way.

 

you are wanting flash360. 360 flash tool is for PC only. its used for checking the cb version, obtaining dvd key, etc. flash360 is used for writing the nand via the console.
