how to install game patches or updates

    hi there friends


    can someone please help me on how to install game patches or update on a pc game because i am having a hard tine installing them.


    a pop up says that OLD FILE NOT FOUND, HOWEVER A FILE OF THE SAME NAME WAS FOUND. NO UPDATE WAS DONE SINCE FILE CONTENT DO NOT MATCH


    your assistance is appreciated...

    you have to install the mod or patch into the main file directory for the game have you done that?
