How to JTAG

    Hi All

    I have Starview box and I don't know how to JTAG it because motherboard is other than to describe on this site http://www.freewebs.com/jtagg/. On my motherboard is 8 pin conector on the left site. Where I have to solder wires?

    Am I correct in saying it a 1st generation SV or is it an SV2?

    I think that this is 1-st a generation box has 25 vents.

    Here are the Jtag points for a genuine SV:

    TP12 = TCK is the white wire
    TP13 = TRST is the blue wire
    TP14 = TMS is the yellow wire
    TP15 = TD0 is the green wire
    TP16 =TD1 is the red wire
    VCC is as per all other SVs.

    You need to be very careful when soldering to the pads as they can be damaged quite easily. Going by your pic the Jtag points are by the Q.C. sticker on the main board.
