I recently purchased about 25 games and a gc for my children for christmas and I would like to know if someone could please tell me what is the best software to use to copy these games and what discs I need also. I also was wondering, after you copy these discs can they be put directly into the gc and be played or does the gc have to be moded. I am pretty good with computers, and things of that nature. I copy dvd's and I also deal with fta receivers and unlocking rom cards, so I can follow directions if I need to mod the gc for any reason. Could I please get some intelligent input concerning my question in this thread from someone who has major experience in this field. Thank you for any info in advance, Be Cool, Don

Your GC will have to be modded to play backups, and unless you use the archaic PSO stream server method, that's what you'll have to do to make backups as well. PC DVD drives cannot read GC discs due to the security measures(reverse order burning, for instance).

Best bet would be to either look for a mod chip and have it installed and your cube laser tweaked, or to find a pawn shop nearby to keep stocked on used games.
