How to make DVD's play in colour in PS2?

    Hi,

    Is there a way i can make my region 1 dvd backups play in colour on my ps2? with out having to buy a new lead, tv ect...ie a software way?

    Ye ripp it and encode it to PAL, doesnt sound like a nice option really does it?

    fusk it buy new dvd's

    converting is a pain in the ASS

    And i would convert it how? software ect?
    and how long would this process take?

    dvd2avi, tmpgenc plus, tmpgenc dvdauthor.

    Anywhere from 8-24 hours. do a search for PAL to NTSC_X_X_X_X_X_[small]Don't ask a question that has been asked a million times already don't be lazy all the info you need is here: http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/

    Ah there would be better methods than that though, i mean with TMPGEnc, you cant even keep your lovely ac3 audio :)
