I would like to know how to edit some scenes and language out of dvd movies. I am able to make copies and reauthor dvd's using AnyDvd, DVD Shrink & Nero 8 Ultra but would really like to clean up some movies for the family to watch. IF possible it would be great to still be able to watch them on any home DVD player. Thank you for any ideas or links provided.

You can use VobBlanker to cut parts of the movie out, it is free.

Thanks, I've never heard of that one. I'll try it this weekend. I love free after buying Nero, AnyDvd & CloneDVD!

If you've already decrypted the movies, why aren't you using your Nero 8 Ultra to edit the movies?

The program I use to edit DVD's is videoredotvsuite, I use it to turn my rated r movies to be less objectionable. All you need to do is open the video_ts folder and it will let you edit the entire video in a frame by frame accuracy.

Once your editing is complete just save the new DVD, As long as you don't adjust the video settings or do cropping etc, it'll take about 15 minutes to save. The finished video will look the same as the original (no reencoding), the sound always stays in sync. This is the ultimate software for editing DVD's quickly without losing quality.

Because I'm a newb, thank you for pointing out the obvious. I really appreciate it.

Thanks jony218 for the videoredotvsuite idea.
