   hey, i have a movie clip and it is a .mov, i was wondering what FREE program i can use to make it into a MPEG, AVI, or WMV. thanks

   First get TMPGEnc http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/tmpgenc.cfm
   
   Then get the QTPlugin http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/qtreader_for_tmpgenc.cfm
   
   And get the latest quicktime player!
   
   
   Put the qtplugin into the same folder as TMPGEnc and it will be able to read .mov files!
