How to obtain a .wav from an .avi

Which software can i use to obtain e good quality .wav file from an .avi?

With VirtualDubMod that's easy.

First download it from here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=65889

Then open the AVI-file with it and go to "Streams" -> "Stream list".
You can see the audio stream in the opened window, click "Save WAV" and select folder. That's it
