hi there.. im quite new to photoshop so i really dont know much about it .does anyone know how to open two different pictures in adobe photoshop cs3 extended for blending and stuff...thnx in advance
OK - on your desktop, select both the pictures you want to open (ctrl click both) - then right click & choose "open with > photoshop cs3" Once both pictures have opened in Photoshop, choose the one you want to put over the other (assuming that you want to layer them directly over one another) If you want to do the whole image, just go to Select > Select All, and then Edit > Copy. Paste onto the other image, it should make a new layer and paste it over the top. If you want to reveal parts of the image below that you pasted over, a simple way is to use the Eraser tool from the tool palate at the left of your screen, and rub out parts of the top layer. If you only wanted to take a piece from image #1 and put it into image #2, rather than selecting the whole image, you need to select just the part that you want of image #1, using the lasso tool - and then copy as above. Hope that helps.
