how to overlock ram?

    i heard a lot about overlock ram that make system run faster and more stabilize..does it overlock through bios or any software to overlock it..thanks

    SOME motherboard's will have the ability to O/C by either jumper settings or within the bios.

    You're welcome. What system do you have or are looking to acquire that will have the ability to O/C?

    P4 3.2E ,
    m/b gigabyte 8ip1000 pro2,
    1gb ram twinx corsair pc3200 xms run at dual channel ,
    g/c sapphire x800pro,
    36gb raptor 10000rpm hdd and 200 gb seagate
    antec true 550 watts psu

    what i have to do to o/c it?( ram and cpu)

    Like I mentioned earlier, the board should have that ability in it's bios. Have you read any manual on this board to verify it's ability? That’s where you’ll find the how to’s. I use Asus boards for the most part and they are extremely easy to setup for O/C.

    in manual book it does not say anything about overlock,,i increased voltage cpu but my system keep shutdown because too hot 80c,lucky cpu still alive i put it back to normal mode now and ram i increased by 0.2 volt. i don't know i do it correct way or not..i wait for your help..thanks
