just ignore that error, top data does not require the dae.bin file any longer. but make sure your image's have the proper top data.

Yep, just ignore that, as I mentioned above. :p

I assume it was left in because the only way to play games that contain the new topology data is to flash your console with LT+ 3.0. 3.0 is not available for all drives yet, plus some people like to stay on a particular firmware version until they absolutely have to upgrade. This still gives people who can't/don't want to upgrade to LT+ 3.0 a way to rip games for their particular firmware version.

As stated in your last post, I happen to be one of the people that don't update their drive if they're comfortable with it. Please bear with me, you seem to be very knowledged about LT+ 3.0.

I have not been online to update my box since the latest dash update. I'm currently still running LT+ 1.9. I don't plan on playing any AP25 games or these XGD3 games through disc back-up methods. If I update to LT+ 3.0, it's only XGD2/3 games that requires new patching, correct (according to the link you gave in post #13)? Not any of the older games? And also, as far as anyone knows, we're just a safe as we ever were on the new dash if I were to continue with LT+1.9?

Yes, it's only games protected by AP2.5 that need re-patching. MS can add AP2.5 to older non-AP2.5 titles, but whether they will do that or not remains to be seen.

And yes, as far as I'm aware (which perhaps doesn't mean much, lol), you're no less safe than you were if you continue to play non-AP2.5 backups using LT+ 1.9.

    I have Lite-on flashed lt+ 3.0
I have the ihas124B flashed with Burner Max

I'm getting an "incorrect function" after adding the bin file. Why is that?

I'm using a macbook to do this using the xp professional. I had to truncate the isos in order to burn them on the mac book.

@tomkar789 - Unless you ripped the game yourself using the latest XBC and ripping method, then you need to patch it. In fact, on Team Xecuter's home page, they're recommending you patch games using the patches I linked to in post #1 of this thread, even if you do rip a game yourself using the latest XBC.

@dalecore - If you followed the instructions to the letter, then I don't know. If you're ripping ISOs from truncated backups, then it could be that, but that's only a guess. Truncating is not a good idea, considering you can buy a drive required to fully burn games for £15.

Has anyone tried the XGD2 patches I posted in post #18? Did they work OK?

I have Lt3.0 and want to play AC Brotherhood.
I want to confirm if I can start with writing disc for ACB using the following:
    1. acb.iso (game iso file)
    2. xgd2other (topology data for ACB)
    3. xbox backup creator (injecting into backup)
    4. imageburn (burn media)

If I am missing anything kindly let me know, as I have already wasted couple of dvd dl's for this game :(

    thanks in advance

Well, that's because it is such a top-secret, highly guarded piece of software that is not easily obtainable.

hello all, I have patched AC Brotherhood using individual topology data injection method and yahooooo I got it working. I confirm that the individual topology data works for AC Brotherhood on Lt3.0 and so it will most likely work for FableIII and hot pursuit. If anyone having problem then let me know.

I believe I posted this under the wrong Topic previously.

Forgive me if this has been answered already but my search was fruitless. I have patched my ISO with the XGD3 Topology data for LT+ 3.0 and all works well.

As the patched 3.0 versions will not work on LT+ 2.0, my question is how can I reverse the patch in order to make a backup copy for my LT+ 2.0 Console? Do I have to re-rip another ISO from the Original Disc?
