How to Play Copy games on Xbox360

    My friends Xbox360 can't play copy games. Is there any advice you can give me?Thanks

    It is not modd. He bought it from currys. Also can xbox360 play normal xbox original and copy games? Please

    Are you serious?
    No, a console that is not modded can not play back up discs, only originals. Pretty much everyone in the known world already knows that. If it could then why would people be modding them?

    Cause its fun to mess up and brick your box, duh steimy, why else would you mod?

    I don't know. Might be all the cool new features it adds like:

    1. being able to turn your 20GB HDD into a 300GB
    2. Being able to use the wonderful XBMC program
    3. Being able to upscale your retail DVD's to 1080P format
    4. Being able to set up an FTP server to transfer files between the PC and 360
    5. being able to download once costly content from XBL Marketplace for free.

    Oh, wait a minute. You can't do any of those things. The only thing modding is good for right now IS PLAYING BACK UP DISCS!

    Lol Yay for modding?!? I want to modd my 360 but dont want to get banned from live, love playing with friends, cause i know they are going to get a fix for whats working now

    At the top of this forum there are big bold threads, Some of which are about modding your 360. Read over those and take all that in first.

    There is a lot of little things to do when modding and when making back ups. No one will write it all out again for you when it is already there.

    Yes, there are two methods of modding.
    1. solder in a modchip which is permenant.
    2. flashing the DVD Drive

    Flashing will give you the chance to update any time one is released and the prefered method by most people.

    But there is a newer chip out there called infection or something along that lines which is programable and can be updated as well. It is also said that with this chip you can unban a banned console. They have video's on YouTube you can see.

    But i am not sure what is involved in unbanning a console, you may need an unbanned console ID in order to do it.

    You can buy premodded xboxs or you can find a local person todo it, other than that your ll by your self you're going to have to look up tutorials, I personally would just flash your DVD
