How to play HD movie from torrent on PS3 or DVD player

Hi all

Now, I want to download HD movies and series torrents. But, all the HD contents found in mininova are in mkv container.

I want to run that mkv file on PS3 or DVD player either by burning it on a DVD (if the size fit) or a Blu-ray disk without losing the HD resolution quality and sound quality and also the subtitle.

Would any body tell me how?????????????
