how to play ps2 games using usb hdd.

hello friends.
i have slim ps2 with mod chip super 7 E17. can i play ps2 games using usb hdd , i have a 80gb usb hdd. can someone help me please.

Memory card exploit will not work on the slim. You need the original USBeXtreme or USBAdvance disc to boot and read the HDD directly. But in your case, your PSTwo is modded so you can just burn a copy of either and use that to boot the HDD. There's a mod case that allows you to store the HDD inside the PSTwo, but I forgot where I saw it. However, you'll have to open up the PSTwo and do some crazy soldering work in order for it to work. Visit exploitstation or sksapps. There's a few free version of USBeXtreme and USBAdvance there. It probably would've been easier if you got the PS2 (original phat) in the first place.

 

thanks , i have soldered my slim ps2 and attached hdd connecter , but dont know how to set hdd on it because formated hard disk does not start , can any one help me how to install hd loader ?

 

I have a slim PS2, but used a USB hard drive. What you need is the usb extreme or usb advanced program. From there, your modchip should be able to read the disc.

 

usb advance starts but it does not play any game , just hangs when click on game, if someone tell me that how to install hdloader in the memorycard and hdd then thats much better , thanks
