I can burn CD-R and DVD+R's on my computer using my Plextor 708A burner with Windows XP digital photos on them.

Windows XP has a nice Slide Show program that will play my burned photos from these discs. How do I get these photos to play from a stand alone DVD player?

    Thank you.

What format is the slideshow in? If you can burn it to a (S)VCD slideshow then odds are you can play it on a standalone

    Praetor,

The slide show software resides in and is part of Windows XP. That software connects with my digital photos in "MY PICTURES" folder. If I copy those photos onto a CD it also plays them back on my computer just fine. When I put that CD into my stand alone DVD player nothing happens.

I'm guessing that I need some kind of other software to create a DVD that will play back those photos in a slide show format in my stand alone DVD player?

    Thank you.

You need to make a (S)VCD Photoslideshow. Simply copying the pictures yto a Data will not work (well, not on all standalones at least).

Yo Florida, try Ulead DVD PictureShow as it creates VCD or DVD photoslide shows with simply transition and optional background music. The playback is very sharp and the best feature is that it backup all your digital shots in the CD and can be retrieve again for printouts (many software only create slideshow but not backup).
