I installed a sample converter and it prompted me to install ASPI which I did by accident on my windows 7 machine. ForceASPI will not work on this machine. How do I remove ASPI properly and remove the reg entries that it added?

Do you mean the killaspi.bat file won't run?
If you edit the .bat file it lists the .dll .sys and .exe files that it is removing - you can search for those files and delete them manually.

    Thanks for the help guys.

It thought my machine was Win 2000 or NT so It installed

    ASPI32.SYS

    WNASPI32.DLL

    and a reg entry here

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ASPI32

I deleted all three and restarted. It is back to normal, in case anyone needed to know.
