how to put a tv series onto dvd

    a tv series onto dvd. i cant work out how to encode them and fit them on as little many dvds as poss. all i can do is get about 2 or 3 on 1 dvd which isnt really god for a series. can anyone please tell me a program or step by step instructions on it as i would like to view them on a stand alone dvd player.

    What file (mpeg, avi?) u are burning?
    VideoDVD or DataDVD?

    Thats part of the solution for you.Another part is we need to know what format the files are in.Is it asf/ mov/ mpeg/ avi.

    After you give us some more details then we will be able to suggest a decent converter for you.
    As to getting more episodes on to disc you probably will need to go to dual layered burner and disc.These discs will hold about 9.3 gig of data.
