    Hi

I would like to re install vista as my computer has alot of fubbish on it and has got slow so I just want to make it the way it was when i turned it on for the first time. It didnt come with a recovery cd so im guessing the recovery files are built in. can anyone tell me how i can access these and how id go about re installing vista

    Thanks

Well i assumed they would be built in as i never got a recovery cd with the computer when i bought it new. Is it impossible to do so or can recovery cds be got at a reasonable price?

you can get recovery cds from the manufacture but your still better off buying a fresh copy of windows...because the recovery cds I bet will have the same preloaded bullshit on them...

Who manufactured your computer? If it was dell or hp there should be a recovery partition that shows up as 'recovery' in My Computer/Computer ( I have used vista but dont have it). If there is a partition with this label, then you should check the options at the bios/boot screen. There should be an option labeled recovery or something similar. I hope this helps
