You dont need to rebuild it you need to patch it.

i know but i patched and it still doesn't work. I've tried everything, i've used different burning programs, different media (first media was first class), i've checked everything i can possibly do but the game still runs really slowly. So i was wandering if there's a method of rebuilding it.

I dont have this game so I don't have experiance with it but you could try a simple re-build like this but you dont say how you are booting the game. This guide assumes you have HD advance because burning a re-built image to DVD never seems to work for me.

    1) Get the iso on a PC
    2) use iso magic or similar to open the iso
    3) open nero and select the UDF/iso type of disc then drag and drop the files breakdown you see in magic iso into the left pane of nero in the same order they are presneted in Magic iso
    4) burn this as an image file (not to DVD)
    5) use WINHiip or HDL dump to transfer the file to your PS2 hDD whilst its connected to your PC Ide channel or via a USB 2.0 enclosre.
