how to recore from the tv

    how can i record what is on my tv next to me on to my computer

    Get a capture card with a tv tuner in it, and hook up to your cable or antenna.

    will this allow me to record what ever i want off my tv such as cctv that is viewed on my tv

    I don't have a clue what cctv is, but if you get it through your cable tv or your antenna, I would think that it will record it.

    cctv (Closed-circuit television) it is pluged by a scart to my tv. how can i record what is on my tv?

    Thanks for the explanation. I don't know that you will be able to. I know that my Hauppauge card does not have a scart connection, and I don't know if you can get an adapter to connect it to an S-Video input.
