Hope someone can help me. I got a new pc with a better dvd burner. On my old pc I had a legal registered copy of dvd xcopy express. Now when I try to install it on my new pc it tells I have registered it already 7 times (which I didn't). If I take the whole xpress directory and copy it to the new pc and try to start the program it tells me to register it. The registration screen comes up, I put in my id and password I got when I bought it and it then tells me it cannot connect to the website which I am not surprised at since the site probably doesn't exist anymore. Any ideas? Is there anyway around it? Thanks everyone.
I had the same problem that all you guys are posting and I emailed my problem at this website http://www.dvdxcopy-international.com/support.html now it installs fine with 3 activations.
Go to DVD XCOPY International, I had my Hard Drive crash, reloaded Xcopy Express, Got the register screen to no where. Learned from a friend about DVD Xcopy International site, You need your Old ID #, Password, Email at the time of registration, Date purchased if possible, I did not have that. And send them a digital photo of your Case and Disc, they contacted me back on Sunday by email and said try again. It registered fine no problem. Still the best software ive used to copy DVD's, Pass info along. JP
I just filled out the form like jposey described and got an instant response. I just wanted to thank everyone for posting their information on getting this program reactivated. Thanks again...
I did the same and received my activation number. I tried the number and it did not work. I wrote back and was told there was nothing else they could do. Any suggestions?
I found out on my old dvd x copy if you still have access to a registered version from anywhere you can transfer the 3 main program files, platinum.exe express.exe and rescue.exe or something close to that to the installation directory like C:\program files\321 studios it will say the other one is registered
I have problem like kas1263. DVdDXCOPY international support said they are not associated with studio123. I am curious to know how others got their software activated. I tried to activate both the server and phone methods, and neither worked. On the phone method, it asks for the password. I tried the password that came with the installation cd but it said the password is invalid. I think the link to DVD international support is to advertise their product, which they claim is the enhanced version of the DVDXCOPY.
