how to remove conduit background container

    recently a file got on my pc in c driver user- name- appdata -local-conduit-background container, and in it there are 2 files which are background container.dll and TBUupdaterlogic_1.0.0.2.dll
    now i can't delete them because it wont let me it says cannot delete because the file is open in windows host process. because of this file in my pc everytime i shutdown my pc it tells me that another program is still running, can someone please give me a step by step guide to remove this file

    Run these 2 programs and it should take care of it.
    Please post the logs so we can see if you need deeper cleaning.

    --AdwCleaner--

    Please download AdwCleaner by Xplode to your Desktop.

    • Close all open programs and internet browsers.
    • Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool.
    • Click on Scan and then click Clean when finished scanning.
    • A log file will automatically open after the scan has finished.
    • Please post the content of that log file with your next answer.
    • You can find the log file at C:\AdwCleaner[Rn].txt (n is a number).

    looks like you have a lot of malware - run adwcleaner again and be sure to click Clean when the scan has finished. It all needs to be fixed.

    You have so much malware that just deleting one WILL NOT do any good.....

    If you will run as administrator and follow my instructions, I can help you clean your infected computer.. If you want to just try to clean the one you can see, then have at it but you will still be infected and most of your problems will return..

    Your choice, I don't get paid for helping.

    thanks but i only need to get rid of the file called conduit background container, because thats the only program that is still runs in the background when i shutdown my pc. can you please help me to remove it

    2oldGeek, on your 1st statement, i doubt it & on your 2nd statement, he is loaded with malware so it will only be a matter of time before he is back to get it properly cleaned up.

    Guess I'm just too far removed from the up-coming generation.. I still do attempt to keep my cool but it's getting harder and harder... I did slip a little with the "Ignorance is bliss" comment but that was well toned down from what I was Really Thinking!

    so let me see if i have this right.back up all your data (and probably the virus too),and reinstall windows??? and then you can try and find the virus all over again.the best way to handle a virus is not to get one ie have protection.reinstalling your os everytime you get a hiccup is a fools game at best.

    Be nice aldan, you know as well as I that Newbies must post a lot of Irrelevant, erroneous information to dead threads in order to get their post count up.
