    Hi there.

Is there a way to rip a VCD?
This is what i want to do:

    I have like 4-5 VCD's i'v created with video of my video-camera.
I'd like to put them all in a DVD, i'v done something like that with TMPGEnc DVD Author... but i had the MPEG or AVI files.

How can i donwload my VCD's to AVI or MPEG??
I know the VCD have on the folder called MPEG .DAT files... if i play them with Media Player, they play... but i don't know how to transfer them to another fomrat.

    I'll apreciate any comment.

    Thanks a lot.

You'll need to encode those 'dat' files to MPEG-2 (DVD Complaint*) files.
I'd use something like MainConcept MPEG Encoder (although there are many more alternatives). Once you have them as MPEG-2 ... TMPGenc DVD Author will recognize those files and create VOB/BUP/IFO files needed for VIDEO_TS burning w/ Nero for instance.

Hope I've helped some , there are many wonderful guides for encoding to MPEG-2/VOB format(s)...

    Have fun : ]-~

*correct screen resolution & 48kHz audio
