i wanna rip some of my dvds and convert the file to wmv, can some1 plz tell me what program i can use to do so, it doesnt matter if its expensive or free as long as it is good. thank you

Here.. how would you find a link posted anyway? It would still be in this thread. Are about 10,000 threads giving guides and help for dvd ripping, editing,converting,authoring and burning not obvious to see? Try looking at the threads at the top.. they have everything (the ones in bold.. there for a reason).. I will suggest a couple of applications for you.. acidrip or dvdrip or vobcopy.. to get the data off the disk.. then ffmpeg or mencoder or tabencode if you want to convert the file format. BTW.. there is a time and a place to get snotty with a mod.. being here for longer than 2 posts is a start XD They have teeth you know.. LOCO is well known for his intolerance and harsh treatment of newbies.. heh heh heh
