How to save my iPhone 5C SMS texts on my PC

For all the Apple wise! I am newbie to Apple, I decided I will return my iPhone 5c and get the 5S but I don't want to lose my sms text. Any free software that will allow me to save them on my PC?

 

I'm not sure if there are any free programs, however there are various paid third-party software tools that will let you save the messages from your iPhone to your computer. Decipher Text Message seems to be the cheapest from what I can tell.
