i got a cpu not 4 months ago for $900 and i plan on selling it to some non-techie minus 90gb plus minor overclock and vista for $750 but so far i've gotten nowhere cuz most people i know are either "i can make a super computer out of paperclips and 2 day old bubblegum" or "who needs more than penitium 1? it browses the internet and and runs MS word". any ideas how i can unload this before the holiday season?

p.s. most people i know are upper middle class

either a community raffle or ebay. :)

most people don't like buying used computers (for a good reason, too), and you can probably get an equal brand new for just as much somewhere.

i really don't have much else to say.

Selling PCs as whole, used, is hard. Try craigslist. If no luck, sell the parts individually on ebay.
