I am just shocked. I got a brand new Nero altogether with NEC 3540a and it simply will not allow me to burn at the speed of 4x!!! The minimum set in the program is 8x! How amateur are they! Everybody knows that audio CDs (but I would suggest data CDs as well) MUST BE burned at the speed of 4x (or lower) in order to get a perfect error-free (C2 errors in particular) result. Does anybody knows if there is a way to get a burning speed of 4x and less in the latest Nero or should I simply throw that out of the window?? notice: I tried using Audio Rip And Burn software, that allowed me to burn at 1x 2x 4x speeds and the result was perfect (audio CD). I tried Nero that only allowed me to burn audio CD at 8x and the first track was full of C2 errors and the basic audio playback of that track was full of clicks!!! rubbish!!!!! please help! this is absolutely unbelievable! thank you I will have to look for another product I am afraid and throw Nero to the rubbish then. And waste my money.
I would say, yes. At least I had my clean disk before I clicked on the audio CD project... anyway I have just downloaded dozens of other product to check which is the right one... I do not know why they provide us with just 8x and more burning speeds...
