how to shrink a DVD to about 500MB's

    I'm using DVD decrypter and sometimes DVD FAB to decrypt a movie, then I use DVD Shrink so it will fit on a regular DVD, but is there a way to shrink it even further so the movie will be about the size to fit on a regular CD? I can only shrink it to about 1.4 GB's

    I have a notebook computer and I'm trying place some DVD's on the hard drive so i can wath them on the airplane. If i could make them small enough I could have a collection of movies saved on the hard drive.

    Any suggestions? Thanks.

    I don't think u can shrink that small. Just rip the movie to avi. You can get it down to 700mb in avi and play that on your pc.

    Easiest way for people that are new to conversion is a program call avi.NET which you can grab from http://www.clonead.co.uk/ . My personal favorite is gordian knot but then you gotta pick everything by hand so its up to you.

    i Use Auto gordian knot pretty simple to use.
