I went through the instructions as guided and used keypoints instead of single frames, but I still don't get the audio and video play the same time. I get this error notice when I open the AVI file:

"VirtualDub has detected an improper VBR audio encoding in the source AVI file and will rewrite the audio header with standard CBR values during processing for better compability. This may introduce up to 13743 ms of skew from the video stream. If this is unacceptable, decompress the *entire* audio stream to an uncompressed WAV file and recompress with a constant bitrate encoder. (bitrate: 136.2 +/- 19.2 kbps)"

    How can I do this?
I've tried to get the skew away by using the "Audio skew correction", but that won't help either. Does anybody have any idea how I could de- and recompress the audio of the AVI file and get it later together. I sure would appreciate it.

    Thanks,
    Janne

Try exporting the audio to wav using tmpgenc and then importing this wav audio into virtualdub together with the original avi. That should correct this problem you're having.
