How to strip subtitles from mpeg

    I captured video with subtitles from analog source and i would like to strip theese subtitles into text file.
    is there any way of making this?

    This isn"t possible because the subtitles are Part of the Image....

    I know, but I thought that some ocr program could solve this problem,
    because dvd also use subpictures with text as a part of them, and any subtitle striping program for dvd uses character recognition.....

    The Subtitles on a DVD are Written on a seperate SUB File and added to the DVD when authoring....

    When you Capture Video that has subtitles the Subtitles are a Part of the Video and can not be Removed, Well not the way you want to do it....

    You can extract the Subtitles from a DVD because the Subtitles are Written on a Seperate file and are Just overlayed over the Video were a Captured file has subtitles hard coded into the Video so they can not be seperated from the Video ....
