How to tell if chipset is compatible for flash

    Is there a thread or site with a list of compatible chipsets for flashing?

    depends what drive you have. if you have a hitachi 78fk, i'd try your motherboard sata connections (assuming you have a m/b with sata connections). mine worked without any issues.

    otherwise, the VIA 6421 chipset (A or L) should work. you can get the card off of newegg for like $15.
