trust me dont try and do it manually (entering 'secret' codes, without using any extra hardware), it could cause a lot more trouble than its worth. just go down the high street and pay someone to do it, or buy the required cables and software and follow instructions on how to do it. you can get these sets from eBay, but there really is no point, it costs the same to get someone else to do it, and you'll only be using the unlocking stuff once (unless you wanna start charging other ppl to unlock their v3s... hmmm....) hope this helps
