I bought a Sony Ericsson K800i and ended up spending £15 to get someone to unlock it. However I have found out how I could have done it myself and thought I'd pass this on to others. You need a USB connector - they come with the phone or you can buy them for ~£5. Go to the website http://www.wotanserver.com/en/ and buy a credit for EUR 7.50. You can then download a driver for the phone, load it into your phone - this will unlock your phone and install the latest drivers so it works efficiently. This is apparently very simple and takes 10 minutes from start to finish.
although it does say in the description that it does not unlock the phone only debrands it, if anyone has already tried this let us know
A new way of unlocking SonyEricsson will be launched soon.. Using this method you don't need any cable or software and best of all you keep the warranty. Price is due this fact a bit higher though.. Have a look at www.unlockSEonline.com All you need to know is your IMEI code and which lock it is locked on (you can check that with <<**<<) With best regards,
