Hi, I want to use the hdd from my xbox and use it on my pc, unfortunately i can't able to unlock the hdd because i dont have the password, my xbox unit was damaged and theres no way i can power it on again. I just like to know if theres a way to unlock the xbox hdd via pc. Thank you very much Pius
Heres what i think u can do. Make a bootdisk of XboxHdm. Open up your xbox and Disconnect your harddrive. then open your pc, and disconenct yur pcs harddrive. after that, conenct your xbox's hd to your your pc. If u still had a bootdisk from XboxHdm, then turn on your pc, change yur settings to: Boot from disk. Put the Xboxhdm cd in yur drive, and u will be promoted with a muenu. when u are at the menu u press the nmber "3" then type: Unlockhd -a It will unlock it for you. Hope i helped Bloodust p.s. you have to have the eeprom to do that that hard drive may be locked up unless you know someonw with a modchip that can boot it in their xbox and unlock it for you
