I have a customer who bought a wii that is softmodded and they don't want it modded, what is the easiest way to unmod it? Can I just run a system update from nintendo and will that delete everything and remove everything without bricking it?
That depends on the wiis current firmware. If it's under 4.2, then you can update to 4.2 or 4.3 to erase the softmods. If the console is already updated to 4.3 (highly doubtful), you'd have to re-install the system menu using softmods, which would erase the softmods.
