I know this question has been asked before. But I still need HELP. After I download the xxxxFW12B.exe from pioneer website. What step I should do next ? Thanks
After you download that exe file,close everything out.It should have been downloaded to a zip file on your hard drive. Make sure: there is no disc in that pioneer drive, no lightning storm or any other acts of god that will cause a power outage,and it the correct fw for your model#.. Find that exe file on your harddrive/open it up and it should tell you what to do. Should be just like downloading any other program,just follow the directions and don't stop in the middle of update process. I have so much crap on my hard drives,that I download fw updates to My Documents for an easier way to find them.
