Just wondering how I upgrade to 4.01 M33-2 with out bricking or blocking my psp. ( taking precautions due to last times failed attempt.) Thanks for your help.
I just downloaded straight from the network icon and followed the steps. Make sure you have selected m33 update in recovery menu. Good luck!
yeah just go to your network update to upgrade it will prompt you to install 4.01m33 1st then it will connect to internet and download it then install the -2 past good luck
yeah you can always just go to network update and it will install the latest custom firmware it started on 3.80m33 both fat and slim
Hi! I was wondering if I could ask a question to do with this thread... I have PSP PHAT with m33-3 v3.90. I have update for m33-2 4.01 ready to install, but I'm wondering why the latest update is called m33-2? If the last uupadate i got took me to m33-3.... :s Will it let me stay on m33-3? Or take me down to m33-2??
its supposed to be written like this 3.90m33-3 or 4.01m33-2 you see its a higher firmware the -2 part and -3 part are just bug fixes that were reeased and added into the 4.01 part so your on the latest firmware dont worry about it =P

Just confirming...the upgrading issue. So basically i have 3.90m33-3 (PSP SLIM), i just go network update and then i will have the 4.01m33-2?? Just double checking. Thanks
i go to network update and when it comes to installing it says 4.01.pbp is missing connect to internet ? do i continue with this ? thanx 4 ur help
