How to upload a picture to a thread, NOT just link to a URL!

    A thread I started was closed because I couldn't upload the screen shot showing my problem. I didn't even have time to respond to ask, and can't figure out how to PM the moderator who closed it. As he noted, instructions at the top of a new post describe how to imbed an image that is URL linked. But what I'm used to, and want to do here is upload the .jpg to the thread.

    How do I do this?

    Upload it to imageshack or photobucket and then post the link.

    Upload the picture to photobucket or imageshack...copy the link and use the icon pointed out in the screenshot below; insert link.

    This is a bit late/old to say anything but if you get stuck in another website and want to do it and it uses HTML do this <img src="link to the picture"> and it should work.
