    Hi All:

Cyprusrom has introduced us to a great programme call "FairUse Wizard" during our discussion of what is the best programme to convert dvd to avi (including recent "sync" problems).

    See discussion here:

I'm new to converting dvd to avi and using FairUse Wizard. Therefore, I've started this post in order to share "how to's" on the use of this programme.

I used the product for the first time in auto mode and it did a very nice job of converting my .iso file to an mpeg-4 .avi Xvid at 700 mbs. Unfortunately, I some how missed an important page on setting the frame size, etc.

My first job went from beginning to end so this menu never popped up? What did I do wrong?

This menu also didn't show up showing resolutions, etc.:

What and where did I go wrong on the main menu?

    Thanks,

:),thanks for the credit, but I did not bring the Wizard to AD, there are plenty members that use it before me(cannot remember who here on AD made me aware of it), and still use it and recommend now.

It is an alternative to AutoGk, it has lots of options and choices of codecs to be used. Your menus did not show up because you probably had selected "Automatic" for conversion.
